Tested once, accepted everywhere
Thanks to the Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) between SAC and various international organizations. The accredited test reports issued by OTM are accepted in most parts of world.
Recognition in Singapore
Our accredited test reports are accepted by all government agencies in Singapore by default. Our test reports are frequently used for various BCA submissions (e.g. daylight reflectance test).
International recognition
Our accredited test reports are accepted by all government or certification bodies requiring ISO 17025 accredited test reports. Our test reports are frequently used for USGBC LEED submissions (e.g. solar reflectance and SRI).
A large fraction of our customers are international customers. Refer to the full country list of our customers.

SGBC Lab Partner scheme
OTM joined as Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) member in 2017 and is one of the official lab partners of SGBC (refer to this link).
OTM has suported many companies in applying for Singapore Green Building Product (SGBP) certification. Below are some examples:
- Testing of window film products
- Testing of coating products
- Testing of wall covering products
- Testing of glazing systems
- Testing of insulation materials
In addition to the results in our standard report, OTM also reports derived quantities required by SGBC [e.g. the light-to-solar-gain (LSG) ratio] and it enables smoother SGBP submission process.

IGDB submission to LBNL/NFRC
OTM has successfully passed the inter-laboratory comparison organized by LBNL in 2011 (ad hoc submission in 2014) and 2015 (report) and is eligible to submit results to the International Glazing Database (IGDB) managed by LBNL/NFRC. Glazing data in IGDB can be used in NFRC certification calculations.
Since 2014, OTM has supported a few companies in their IGDB submissions.
For customers who are not seeking IGDB submissions, it is possible for OTM to provide raw data in IGDB format. The IGDB format results can be imported to the user database created in LBNL Optics software. It makes test results re-use convenient.

CGDB submission to LBNL/AERC
OTM has successfully passed the inter-laboratory comparison organized by LBNL in 2018 and is eligible to submit results to the Complex Glazing Database (CGDB) managed by LBNL/AERC. Optical data of fabric materials in CGDB can be used in AERC certification calculations.
Since 2018, OTM has supported one US company in their CGDB submissions.
