Product Description

The LPNET07 Net Radiometer is designed to measure total net radiation, representing the difference between incoming and outgoing radiation across a surface.

Using a single thermopile sensor with dual receiving surfaces (upper and lower), it captures both solar and infrared radiation over a very wide spectral range (0.2 to 100 µm). This enables reliable evaluation of surface energy balance in meteorological and environmental applications.

Its robust PTFE-coated receivers ensure stable spectral response and long-term durability for outdoor use. The instrument operates passively (mV output), making it easy to integrate into data acquisition systems without requiring external power.

Key Features:

  • Measures total net radiation (incoming – outgoing)
  • Wide spectral range: 0.2 µm to 100 µm (UV to far infrared)
  • Single thermopile sensor with dual receiving surfaces
  • Measurement range: ±2000 W/m²
  • Passive mV output (no power supply required)
  • Cosine-corrected response for accurate radiation measurement
  • Wide field of view: 180° (upper and lower sensors)
  • Rugged PTFE-coated receivers for outdoor durability
  • Operating temperature: -40 to +80°C
  • Suitable for meteorology, energy balance studies, and indoor radiant temperature (ISO 7726)
