Product Description
The RWS-20 Road Visibility Sensor provides accurate measurement of visibility (MOR) for improved safety in conditions such as fog, heavy rain, snow, and spray. It is specifically designed for road weather monitoring and RWIS applications.
Using proven forward scatter technology, it delivers reliable visibility measurements up to 7.5 km, with performance comparable to transmissometers in a compact and cost-effective design.
Built for harsh outdoor environments, the sensor features heated optics and automatic contamination compensation, ensuring stable operation with minimal maintenance. It integrates easily into traffic management systems and road-side infrastructure.
