Product Description

The LPPIRG01 Pyrgeometer is designed to measure far infrared (longwave) radiation from the atmosphere and surrounding environment, typically for wavelengths above 4.5 µm.

Using a thermopile sensor with silicon window and spectral filtering, it provides accurate measurement of net longwave radiation, which is essential for applications such as energy balance studies, meteorology, and climate research.

The instrument includes an internal NTC temperature sensor to compensate for instrument temperature, enabling accurate calculation of downward infrared radiation. Available in both passive (mV output) and Modbus RS485 (LPPIRG01S) versions, it integrates easily into environmental monitoring systems.
