Product Description

The SPPM-PV Soiling Monitoring System is designed to measure the impact of dust and dirt on photovoltaic (PV) panel performance, helping operators determine the optimal cleaning schedule.

It uses two reference PV panels (clean and soiled) to directly assess real plant conditions. By applying IEC 61724-1–based algorithms using short-circuit current and temperature measurements, the system calculates a soiling index linked to energy loss.

The system includes a control unit with high electrical isolation and integrates with data loggers such as the METEODATA-4000 for data acquisition, analysis, and remote monitoring. It is suitable for solar farms, performance monitoring, and asset optimisation applications.
